Hi James,good to see Gower`s on the web. I`ve just started research into early Gower`s and interested to know how you know about 2 Gower`s being on the English side in 1066? Who were they and where were they from? I was born in Yorkshire, with lots of Gower`s from medieval times in this area. My sister is going back generation by generation and has descendents now in London and s.East. I`m starting with Anglo/Saxon or Norman origin and hoping we will meet, and have a complete tree. If you can supply any info with regards to any Gower`s around 1066 onwards or suggestions would be appreciated. All the best Andrew Gower
